Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Note 14S in Central and Eastern Europe

Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 14S in Central and Eastern Europe, branding it as a fresh addition to markets like Czechia and Ukraine. However, the device is essentially a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, distinguished mainly by a revamped camera design.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The highlight is its 200MP main camera, positioned on the updated rear panel.

Notably, when the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G launched in early 2024, it ran on the older Android 13. This time, Xiaomi has omitted OS details altogether, leading to speculation that it still runs on outdated software, with HyperOS potentially based on two-year-old Android.

The Redmi Note 14S comes in Blue, Purple, and Black color options. The pricing in Czechia is CZK 5,999, which translates to approximately $260 for the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage variant.
