Xiaomi Unveils Poco F7 Ultra and F7 Pro Globally: Pricing, Features, and More

Xiaomi has officially launched the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro, both featuring advanced specifications and features aimed at the premium smartphone market in 2025. The devices are equipped with flagship-grade processors, large batteries, and high-resolution displays, positioning them as significant competitors in the industry.

Poco F7 Ultra

The Poco F7 Ultra is the brand’s first “Ultra” model, positioning itself as a high-end flagship device. The device operates using the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC processor, which optimizes both demanding application performance and multitasking functionality.

The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering 2K WQHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that provides brightness performance up to 3200 nits. The display supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision protocols for improving color intensity and contrast performance in compatible streaming content. The mobile device makes use of VisionBoost D7 graphics technology to reach maximum frame rates of 120fps during 2K resolution gaming.

The Poco F7 Ultra comes with a triple-camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS as well as a 32MP ultra-wide camera and a 2.5x telephoto lens for 50MP zoom capabilities. A 32MP resolution front-facing camera exists on the Poco F7 Ultra.

The device runs on a 5300mAh battery that allows 120W fast charging capabilities. The Poco F7 Ultra will receive four years of operating system updates and six years of security maintenance from Xiaomi to ensure extended software support according to company policy.

The price of the base Poco F7 Pro model, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is set at PKR 181,000.

Poco F7 Pro

The Poco F7 Pro shares many of the same display features as the Ultra, including the 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 2K WQHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. This display boasts peak brightness of 3200 nits so users can maintain visual clarity even when working in well-lit conditions.

The Poco F7 Pro utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as its internal processor. This SoC functioned as the top-tier SoC during the previous year. The combination of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage is included with the Poco F7 Pro. The Poco F7 Pro comes with a 6000mAh power pack that charges at 90W speed.

The Poco F7 Pro features two cameras that include a 50MP primary sensor equipped with OIS plus an 8MP ultrawide lens. The Poco F7 Pro lacks the telephoto lens which differentiates it from the Ultra model. This mobile uses a 20MP imaging sensor for its front-facing camera.

The Poco F7 Pro provides customers with IP68 certification that assures protection from water and dust particles. Users can purchase Poco F7 Pro at the base price of PKR 140,000 which includes 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity.

With the launch of the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro, Xiaomi has introduced two smartphones targeting distinct segments of the premium market. Both models are now available for purchase globally.
