The Honor 400 will make its debut in Malaysia

The Honor 300 series stayed in China, but the 400 series is going global – the Honor 400 Lite made its debut a month ago in Austria, now the vanilla 400 is “coming soon” to Malaysia.

Honor Malaysia took to social media to promise “Next-Gen AI Imaging” with a teasing glance at a three-camera setup. Based on rumors, the Honor 400 and 400 Pro will have 200MP cameras.

The vanilla model is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with 12GB of RAM. It will have a 6.55” “1.5K” OLED display and a 5,300mAh battery. The Pro model is getting a more premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a larger 6.7” display and a 50MP telephoto camera. Allegedly, of course.

The Honor 400 Lite launched in Austria at €300 for an 8/256GB model (€270 early bird price). In Malaysia, a similar 12/256GB unit sells for MYR 1,300 (the early bird price is MYR 1,100). MYR 1,300 converts to €270, so the Malaysian price is 10% lower than the European one. A recent leak priced the Honor 400 at €500 for an 8/256GB unit, subtracting 10% from that and converting to ringgit gets us to MYR 2,150.

That’s just speculation – the official reveal is likely to happen later this month, but we’ll have to keep an eye on Honor’s posts for the exact date. It’s not clear whether both the Honor 400 and 400 Pro will launch in Malaysia or just one of them.
