Samsung Expands One UI 7 Eligibility – Devices from 2021 and Beyond!


Samsung has shared an exciting update on the One UI 7 rollout, and it comes with good news—more Galaxy devices are set to receive the latest software update.

Expanded List of Eligible Devices

While it was already known that newer models like the Galaxy S24 and S23 series, Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and the Galaxy Tab S10 and S9 would be updated, Samsung Singapore’s press release confirms that the update will extend to devices dating back to 2021.

One UI 7 Supprting Devices

Here’s a breakdown of some Galaxy devices eligible for One UI 7 (this isn’t the full list—more on that later):

Galaxy S Series

  • Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE
  • Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, and S23 FE
  • Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra
  • Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, and S21 FE

Galaxy Z Foldables

  • Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6
  • Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5
  • Galaxy Z Fold4, Z Flip4
  • Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3

Galaxy Tab Series

  • Galaxy Tab S10+, S10 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, S9 Ultra, S9 FE, S9 FE+
  • Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, S8 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) and possibly Tab S6 Lite (2022)

Samsung’s press release doesn’t specify whether the 2022 version of the Tab S6 Lite will be included. The 2024 model is confirmed, but the original 2020 version completed its update cycle with Android 13.

What About Galaxy A Devices?

While the list of Galaxy S, Z, and Tab models has been confirmed, many Galaxy A series devices are also expected to receive One UI 7. However, Samsung has yet to release details on which specific A-series models will be included.

Samsung has not provided an exact timeline for the rollout of One UI 7 across all devices. However, based on previous announcements, the update will begin rolling out in phases:

  • April 7 in some regions
  • April 10 in others
  • April 14 as per the Singapore press release
