Is Your Galaxy Device Getting Android 15? One UI 7 Rollout Explained

Samsung’s One UI 7 has been making headlines—not for major upgrades, but due to the company’s slow rollout. After recently expanding the Beta program to foldable devices, Samsung has now officially confirmed the release date for the stable version. The company has also announced additional Galaxy devices that will receive the Android 15-based update.
Samsung has officially confirmed in a press release that the stable One UI 7 rollout will begin in April. In a recent update, the company specified April 7, 2025, as the release date, with the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 being the first devices to receive the update.
However, availability will vary by region. South Korea and India are expected to get the update first, followed shortly by select European countries. Users in the United States will have to wait a bit longer, as the rollout there is set to begin on April 10.
Moreover, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series will also be updated directly to One UI 7, though they may receive it at a later date. Availability will also depend on the device variant and carrier restrictions, particularly for devices tied to mobile plans.
Quick recap: The One UI 7 timeline began with a beta phase initially launched on the Galaxy S24 series. Now on its fifth beta as of March, this is expected to be the final version before the official release. The upcoming mid-range Galaxy A-models will have One UI 7 pre-installed.
The beta program also expanded to devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6—both receiving foldable-specific features—as well as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
