iPhone 17 Air’s Sleek Design and Camera Bump Details Leaked

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series later this year, introducing four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Air, also referred to as the iPhone 17 Slim, is anticipated to replace the ‘Plus’ variant and become the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever released. A new leak has provided a more precise estimate of the iPhone 17 Air’s total thickness, including its camera bump, adding to the growing number of rumors about the phone’s dimensions.
iPhone 17 Air’s Thickness, Including the Camera Bump
According to a leak from Weibo tipster Ice Universe, the iPhone 17 Air’s camera bump is expected to be 4mm thick, bringing the total thickness of the device to 9.5mm when the camera module is included. This aligns with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s January predictions. Kuo also estimated that without the camera bump, the phone would measure just 5.5mm in thickness, making it Apple’s slimmest iPhone to date.

Earlier leaks suggested that the iPhone 17 Air would have dimensions of 163mm in height, 77.6mm in width, and 6.25mm in thickness. For comparison, the current iPhone 16 is 7.8mm thick.
Reports indicate that Apple may use a titanium frame for the iPhone 17 Air, making it lighter and more premium. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are rumored to feature an aluminum frame instead.
Expected Specifications and Features
The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to come with a 120Hz ProMotion display measuring 6.6 inches and featuring Apple’s Dynamic Island. The device is also expected to have a 48-megapixel primary rear camera and a 24-megapixel front camera for improved photography and video capabilities.
Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Air is likely to be powered by an A18 or A19 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and integrated Apple Intelligence features. The device is also expected to include Apple’s latest 5G and Wi-Fi chips for enhanced connectivity.
Rumors suggest that the iPhone 17 Air could be priced between PKR 3,85,000 and PKR 4,45,000 in Pakistan (approximately $1,299 to $1,500), placing it in the premium segment of Apple’s lineup.
With leaks and reports continuing to surface, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series, particularly the iPhone 17 Air, is shaping up to be a significant redesign focusing on sleekness, power, and premium build quality.
