Aon CEO Case takes President responsibilities, as Eric Andersen transitions to senior advisor

Greg Case, CEO of insurance and reinsurance broking giant Aon, is taking on the additional responsibilities of company President, as long-standing senior Aon executive Eric Andersen is transitioning into a role as a senior advisor to Case.Andersen has worked at Aon since 1997 having joined the company with the acquisition of Minet.
Andersen had been the CEO of the broker’s reinsurance division and then became a co-President of the company in 2018, when the brand names for reinsurance and risk solutions as Aon sought to embrace a more unified approach.
He then became the sole President of Aon in 2020 and has played an integral role in advancing the firm’s Aon United strategy.
Andersen has also been instrumental in Aon’s moves to bring together its integrated Risk Capital (Reinsurance and Commercial Risk) and Human Capital (Health, Wealth and Talent) capabilities, while also being a leader in the roll-out of Aon’s 3×3 Plan to go further, faster to serve its clients.
Andersen will work as a senior advisor to Aon CEO Greg Case through June 2026, the company said today.
