Caroline Roux appointed as editor of The Art Newspaper’s Art of Luxury magazine
The Art Newspaper has appointed Caroline Roux as editor of Art of Luxury magazine. Since its launch in October 2023, Art of Luxury has published market-leading coverage of how grande marque fashion, jewellery, travel and lifestyle interact with artists, the art market and the museums and heritage sector.
Roux is a London-based writer and editor who focuses on contemporary art and design and its intersection with architecture, craft, fashion and the luxury sector. She writes for The Financial Times and The Art Newspaper, as well as a range of publications in the UK and the US including The Gentlewoman and Galerie.
She worked on the launch of Wallpaper, relaunched Crafts magazine and was the first editor of Frieze Week magazine. She has run expert panels on art and design topics at Design Miami, PAD London and at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Established 35 years ago, The Art Newspaper has developed into a multi-platform brand that has upheld its reputation as the art world’s “journal of record”.
