Samsung has released a new security update for the Galaxy S24 FE, addressing recently discovered vulnerabilities. This March 2025 security patch is part of the ongoing updates seen across various Galaxy devices. For S24 FE users, this could be the last security update before Samsung shifts focus to rolling out One UI 7 with Android 15, expected in April.
The Galaxy S24 FE is among the select high-end models set to receive One UI 7 in the first phase. Samsung has already confirmed the list of devices eligible for Android 15, but for now, let’s take a closer look at what this security patch brings.
Over 58 Security Vulnerabilities Fixed
Recent findings revealed multiple security risks affecting the Galaxy S24 FE, with some linked to Google’s Android core system and others embedded in Samsung’s One UI 6 firmware. The March 2025 update addresses over 58 vulnerabilities, of which 40 are classified as critical by Samsung.
Details from Samsung’s security bulletin suggest that the update fixes potential threats in areas such as Bluetooth Auracast, Galaxy Watch Gallery, MAC address protection, and Access control mechanisms. These enhancements ensure a more secure experience for Galaxy users while maintaining the value and reliability of Samsung devices.
Currently, the international variant of the Galaxy S24 FE (SM-S721B) is receiving this update in Europe. The firmware version S721BXXS3AYB3 has been spotted, and once the rollout is complete in Europe, other regions will follow.
Users in Pakistan should also expect the update soon. If automatic updates are disabled, the phone will prompt you when the update becomes available. If enabled, the system will schedule the update during inactive hours.

- If available, select Download and Install
