MWC 2025: Everything announced so far

MWC 2025 is currently taking place in Barcelona. We’ve rounded up all the news and announcements from Mobile World Congress.
There are plenty of big names attending the mobile-focused event this year, including Nothing, Realme and Samsung to name just a few. Xiaomi, Honor and HMD kicked off the show by announcing their newest products on Sunday afternoon, though other brands quickly followed.
Keep reading to discover all the important announcements from MWC so far, or read mobile editor Lewis Painter’s take on how the event has geared up to be a smartphone photographer’s dream.
HMD
Starting this list in alphabetical order, HMD visited Spotify Camp Nou to unveil its latest products.
This included the HMD Fusion X1 which is designed to be a teenager’s first smartphone. The phone was developed with kids’ smartwatch maker Xplora and is designed to be used with an Xplora subscription, giving parents control over their teen’s first phone.
Key features include the ability to limit social media and internet access, location tracking, emergency SOS calling and a School Mode to cut down on distractions while they’re learning.
HMD also announced two new HMD x FC Barcelona phones that feature hidden messages from players, custom wallpapers and club colours, along with the HMD 2660 Flip, a class-style flip phone for those looking to take a break from modern smartphones.
The HMD 130 Music and 150 Music also feature retro designs, while the HMD Amped Buds are the first earbuds to come with a 1600 mAh reverse charging case for charging smartphones wirelessly.
Honor
Next up is Honor as the company unveiled its Honor Alpha Plan at MWC.
This three-step plan takes Honor through the agentic AI era – where AI models don’t require much prompting – then the physical AI era that encompasses robots, drones and self-driving cars, before finally tackling the AGI era, a hypothetical stage of AI where machines can perform pretty much any task a human can.
Honor also announced several, more tangible products, including the latest Honor MagicBook Pro 14, the Honor Pad V9, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra and the Honor Earbuds Open. The V9 in particular was the best value tablet our mobile editor spotted at MWC 2025.
Last but certainly not least, Honor promised that its Honor Magic phones would receive seven years of software and security updates
in the EU going forward, putting the Magic range in line with flagship offerings from the likes of Google and Samsung.
Nothing
Nothing announced two new mid-range smartphones at MWC 2025: the Nothing Phone 3a and the Nothing Phone 3a Pro.
Both phones received a more durable design, performance boost and new telephoto camera this year, while the Pro model also featured a bespoke hardware button to the mix.

Samsung
Samsung unveiled its own mid-rangers in the form of the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G and A26 5G.
A minor upgrade over last year’s Galaxy A55, the Galaxy A56 introduces subtle improvements including a thinner design, better performance and faster charging. It also marks the launch of ‘Awesome Intelligence’, bringing more AI experiences to the affordable Samsung line.
You can learn all about these upgrades in our guide to the Samsung Galaxy A56 vs A55.
TCL
TCL unveiled six new smartphones in its TCL 60 Series at MWC with a focus on eye comfort, productivity and connectivity. Two of these models feature TCL’s Nxtpaper display technology, allowing users to experience the comfort of an e-ink display.
The brand also announced the 11.5-inch TCL Nxtpaper 11 Plus, a tablet that makes use of TCL’s latest Nxtpaper 4.0 display tech, a larger 8000 mAh battery, 33W fast charging and, of course, some built-in AI features.
The Nxtpaper 11 Plus stole our mobile editor’s heart at the event thanks to its Nxtpaper display, handy AI features and in-depth screen customisation, praising the way the tablet offers the best of both regular screens and e-ink alternatives.
Xiaomi
Xiaomi unveiled two new flagship phones at MWC this year, including the Xiaomi 15 and top-end Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
We’ve already shared our reviews of both handsets, with Chris Hall calling the Xiaomi 15 “a compact powerhouse” that combines great performance, powerful hardware and excellent battery life. Lewis Painter, meanwhile, named the 15 Ultra “one of the best camera phones in 2025”. You can learn how these two Xiaomi phones compare in our guide to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra vs Xiaomi 15.
